HERO Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
One hundred fight cards is a long time and we are almost there. That's almost a thousand fights that have taken place under the HERO banner. During that time, a few men have risen above the rest and staked their place as HERO legends. Tonight we are here to honor two more.
The first man who deserves recognition tonight didn't always seem destined for greatness. After losing his pro debut in in a QFC fight, he joined HERO and promptly lost again. At that point, many fighters would have considered hanging it up, but not this man.
What he has done since is nothing short of amazing. Twelve fights. Twelve wins. Twelve knockouts. He has successfully defended the HERO Featherweight title seven times and is showing no signs of giving it up any time soon. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for the first of our two new Hall of Famers: Antero Wursty!
The second man that we are here to honor tonight is the first Hall of Famer to start off in another org. He spent his early days in Sydney, where he compiled a 4-0 record with the Royal Combat Society. From there, he relocated to Helsinki and joined HERO. Under the HERO banner, he has put together ten victories, bringing his career record to 14-3. He has ended seven of those victories in the very first round and has won the HERO Heavyweight title a remarkable three times. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the second of our two new Hall of Famers, the man they call "Kroll": Tobias Larsson!
