HERO Kamppi Chaos 1 Press Conference

July 6, 2013

Since starting his career 0-2, Antero Wursty has now gone on an amazing streak of fifteen straight wins. The challengers keep lining up and he keeps raising his game to the occasion. This time, it was a fast first round knockout of Henrik Torhammer.
In the co-main event, Nicky Santoro walked away with a unanimous decision win over fellow newcomer Karl Kunnas. It wasn't the most exciting fight in the world, but it was his 10th win in his last 11 fights.
Tommy Tapout, Maarten Van Der Moot, and Zhijing Wang also scored main card victories.
Let's take a look at how the action influenced the title pictures.

Antero Wursty remains atop the featherweight mountain. Nicky Santoro will get the next shot at dethroning the greatest fighter in HERO history.
Maarten Van Der Moot and Zhijing Wang moved themselves to #3 and #4 respectively in the featherweight rankings. They will face each other next, with the winner having a strong argument for a title shot.
Tommy Tapout got himself back on the winning track. In an attempt to get back into title contention, he will next take on the fast rising Hector Barbosa.
The HERO pound for pound rankings remain unchanged after this event. Antero Wursty is still the king of the mountain. Nicky Santoro is knocking on the door of the top ten. A win over Wursty will not only get him on the list, but near the top of it.
